
The last polls are the same as most of the rest were. Langdon Area/Munich is on top in 11A and New Rockford-Sheyenne/Maddock heads 9-man in the final edition of those football polls for 2025 from the North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters & Sportswriters Association, released Wednesday.
11A and 9-man playoffs will begin on Saturday.
Langdon Area/Munich was on top in the last eight polls in 11A. The Cardinals, the classification’s only unbeaten team at 9-0, received 13 of the 14 first-place votes. Killdeer received the other. The Cowboys are tied for second with defending state champion Velva-Drake-Anamoose-Garrison.
Defending champion New Rockford-Sheyenne/Maddock was number one in every poll after the preseason poll. In the last poll, the Rockets were the number one choice of 11 voters, with two first-place votes going to LaMoure-Litchville/Marion and one given to Linton/Hazelton-Moffitt-Braddock/Strasburg-Zeeland.
