The Wahpeton Huskies football team fell to 0-4 following a 34-14 homecoming loss to Bismarck St. Mary’s on Friday night. The game was tied 14-14 at the half.
Beckett Price tied the game on a 35-yard touchdown run with 19 seconds remaining in the opening half. The scamper came after Price blazed down the sideline for a 71-yard touchdown earlier in the half.
Jack Gilbertson threw a 19-yard touchdown pass to Brayden Steffens and ran in a second score from five yards out to conclude the Wahpeton scoring.
Michael Petersen led the Huskies ground attack, unofficially closing the contest with 71 yards rushing. Cooper Koolmo paced the receiving corps with 60-plus yards on six catches.
