Minnesota Twins center fielder Byron Buxton has been selected to his second MLB All-Star game, the league announced Sunday.

Buxton, playing in his 11th season with Minnesota, is batting .270 with 20 home runs, 53 runs batted, 57 runs scored and 16 stolen bases.

The freakishly fast slugger is the Twins lone all-star selection this season.

Buxton, who didn’t meet the threshold in the fan vote, was announced as a reserve outfielder after receiving the fourth-most votes from his fellow major leaguers.

New York Yankees superstar Aaron Judge was the only outfielder, in either league, with more player votes than Buxton.

Judge earned 898 votes from players. Buxton was second with 700.

The American League starting outfield will feature the Detroit Tigers tandem of Riley Greene and Javier Baez alongside Judge.

The 2025 MLB All-Star Game will be played Tuesday, July 15 in Atlanta.
