The Breckenridge baseball team tossed a combined no-hitter Tuesday in an 8-1 victory at West Central Area.
Jaxson Riggs earned the win by pitching five innings and holding the Knights to one run. Riggs worked around four walks and fanned seven batters.
Tucker Snyder and Cooper Roberts closed out the win on the mound by firing two perfect innings, as the Cowboys moved to 5-4 and the Knights fell to 1-7.
Connor Ernst had a banner day at the dish. The designated hitter ignited Breckenridge from the No. 2 spot in the order, batting 3-for-5 and driving in four runs.
Gabe Armitage, Breckin Anderson and Trey Vogelbacher scored two runs apiece.
Breckenridge ran wild on the bases, racking up six steals.
